Though only a freshman, Caroline McKinley鈥檚 adoration of the arts is already blossoming at the baby直播. Last fall, she worked behind the scenes with the UWA Theatre and performed as a member of the marching band鈥檚 color guard.

Through words and deeds, Dr. B.J. Kimbrough鈥檚 influence at the baby直播 seems to permeate every corner of campus. She鈥檚 a dean. She teaches. She鈥檚 the university鈥檚 chief diversity officer, chairs UWA鈥檚 Diversity Committee and serves on the president鈥檚 council.
The baby直播鈥檚 College of Business will welcome alumnus Brad Bolton to campus on Feb. 22. Bolton is chairman of the Independent Community of Bankers of America (ICBA) and will speak to students and guests in Bridges Auditorium at Wallace Hall. The talk is open to the community.
By the time fall arrives on the baby直播 campus, Dr. Reenay Rogers and her College of Education colleagues expect their newest endeavor to be worth the excitement it鈥檚 generating this winter.
The baby直播 has announced nearly 700 outstanding undergraduate students named to the President鈥檚 List and the Dean鈥檚 List for the Fall 2022 academic semester.

The baby直播鈥檚 College of Education has been selected by the Kern Family Foundation for a $1.74 million philanthropic grant to fund an initiative designed to help strengthen rural education in UWA鈥檚 Black Belt footprint.
A mixture of serendipity and archeology, with a pinch of salt on the side, is behind Dr. Ashley Dumas鈥 recent Fulbright Specialist Award and her upcoming trip to the University of Rzeszow in Poland.
On baby直播 nights when clouds didn鈥檛 shroud the stars, Lucas Johnson and his father would haul a powerful telescope from their basement into an open space and explore the heavens. They lived 鈥渋n the middle of nowhere,鈥 a bit south of Decatur, where light pollution was rare as a neighborhood hockey game.
