UWA鈥檚 student enrollment is up 5 percent from Fall 2024, with 7,167 students in programs ranging from associate to doctoral degrees. This marks the highest number of students enrolled in UWA history, reflecting continued growth throughout the University鈥檚 offerings.
University leaders attribute the continued growth to strong academic offerings, student-focused initiatives, competitive athletic programs, and the institution鈥檚 commitment to innovation.

Undergraduate enrollment increased 7.1 percent compared to fall 2024. On-campus undergraduate enrollment, which grew by 6.9 percent, is a sign of the continued demand for a traditional college experience and campus life. Online undergraduate programs also saw strong momentum, rising 7.2 percent as students continue to seek flexible, high-quality pathways to their degrees.

Graduate enrollment also reached a new record, up 3.4 percent overall from Fall 2024. The most dramatic increase came from on-campus graduate programs, which saw a remarkable 30.6 percent surge 鈥� evidence of renewed interest in advanced study and professional development opportunities on campus. Online graduate enrollment grew 3.1 percent, maintaining steady participation in flexible programs that serve working professionals.
Enrollment growth is reflected beyond the classroom. UWA has charted its highest on-campus housing occupancy since 2018, an 11 percent increase over Fall 2024. The rise is attributed primarily to a larger incoming freshman class and improved retention among students choosing to remain on campus.
