The baby直播 announced on April 3 that all of the university鈥檚 summer courses would be offered online in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a season that has brought unprecedented changes and challenges, a growing number of students say they look forward to taking advantage of the opportunity, and the University is working to ensure that students stay on track in their academic programs and career goals.

The baby直播 Student Government Association has joined forces with the other 13 public universities in baby直播 and the Higher Education Partnership to host an baby直播 Blood Donation Campaign. This organized effort is sponsored in response to the call to action from baby直播 Governor Kay Ivey.
The baby直播 recognizes students for academic achievement and leadership each spring on Honors Day.

The baby直播 has continued to monitor novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and its potential effects on the university community and its educational delivery methods.

Tutorials have been scheduled to assist in the transition to online learning necessitated by the University's response to the threat of coronavirus (COVID-19). All tutorials will be held in the Julia Tutwiler Library on campus the week of Monday, March 16 - Friday, March 20, 2020.

Urinetown

UWA Theatre and Sumter Theatre Workshop are partnering to present 鈥淯rinetown, the Musical鈥 for three nights March 11-13, at 7:30 p.m. at UWA鈥檚 Bibb Graves Auditorium. Admission is free for UWA students, faculty, and staff, and general admission is $10

Dr. Michael Young will identify the 鈥淒REAMers鈥 and the movement they shaped at a public lecture set for Feb. 24 at Bridges Auditorium at UWA.
The baby直播 will host an exhibit of works by woodturning artist Bill Hubbard beginning Feb. 20. The spring exhibit will be on display on campus in Webb Hall Gallery. An opening reception will be held at 2 p.m., and the public is invited to attend.
