Plan Your Campus Visit

Weekday Tours

Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

A general campus tour is a great first step in your college search process. Tours are free with complimentary lunch available during the lunch hour or upon request.

What to Expect

Visits last approximately 90 minutes | Rain or Shine

Visits begin at the UWA Welcome Center at Land Hall, where designated Future Tiger Parking will be available. A student ambassador will lead a tour of campus—a mix of driving and light walking—featuring academic buildings, recreation areas, and a freshman dorm room. Following the tour, you’ll meet with your Recruitment & Enrollment Specialist to discuss admissions requirements, scholarships, academic programs, and next steps. Meetings with representatives from your academic area of interest may be arranged upon request by emailing your Recruitment & Enrollment Specialist in advance to confirm availability. 

Preview Day

Spring Preview Day: March 14, 2026

Designed for college-bound high school students and prospective transfer students, Preview Day offers a full-day, immersive look at life at UWA.

What to Expect

  • Enjoy a complimentary lunch in the dining hall
  • Attend college- or division-specific sessions focused on academics, internships, and career preparation
  • Enter to win a $1,000 one-time scholarship
  • Receive tickets to attend a UWA athletic event in the afternoon
  • Hear from UWA President Dr. Todd Fritch and campus leadership
  • Connect with admissions staff and faculty from your academic area of interest
  • Learn about scholarships, financial aid, admissions requirements, housing, and student life
  • Tour campus and residence halls

Saturday Tours

January 24, 2026 | February 28, 2026 | April 11, 2026 | May 2, 2026

Saturday Tours are offered once per month for prospective students and families who are unable to attend a weekday tour.

What to Expect

Visits last approximately 2 hours

Saturday visits include a presentation led by a professional staff member, followed by a guided walking tour of campus. Tours highlight key areas of the main campus and provide an overview of academic buildings and student spaces.

Group Tours

Schedule a group tour with the Office of Recruitment.

Group tours are designed for schools, organizations, and large groups interested in learning more about the university. 

What to Expect

Visits last approximately 3 hours

Group visits include a presentation by a professional staff member, a question-and-answer session, and a guided campus tour. Tours focus on the main campus area and include a visit to freshman residence building, Gilbert Hall.

Complimentary lunch is provided for groups in 9th grade and above. Groups below the 9th grade are welcome; lunch is not included but may be available at a discounted rate.
